This Privacy Policy explains how Lovey ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Baby Tracker mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Lovey is designed to be used by parents and caregivers — adults — to record information about their child. The App is not directed at children, and children are not expected to create accounts or use the App themselves.
1. Information We Collect

Information collected automatically
We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. The App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission because it does not perform cross-app/website tracking. Standard technical data (such as device timestamps, local storage usage, and network connectivity status) may be accessed on your device solely to support offline mode and app functionality — this data is not transmitted to us or any third party for tracking purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the App's core features (logging, charts, reminders, and multi-caregiver sharing).
- To sync your data across your devices and with caregivers you've explicitly invited.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
- To keep the App secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your baby's data to serve you advertising.
3. How We Store and Protect Your Information
Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database and storage provider, with industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your data is restricted to you and the caregivers you explicitly add to a baby's profile, enforced by database-level access rules. When you're offline, recently viewed data and pending log entries are cached locally on your device and synchronized once you're back online.
4. Sharing Your Information
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- With caregivers you invite — anyone you add to a baby's profile can view and add to that baby's logs.
- With service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, currently Supabase (hosting, database, and file storage).
- If required by law, to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or protect the safety of our users.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- Access & correction — you can view and edit your baby's profile and logs directly in the App at any time.
- Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing soufianxlm@gmail.com. We will delete your data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it by law.
- Data portability — you can request a copy of your data by emailing us at the address above.
- Revoking caregiver access — the primary caregiver can remove another caregiver's access to a baby's profile from Settings at any time.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law (such as GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
6. Children's Privacy
Lovey is intended for use by adults to track information about their child; it is not directed at, marketed to, or knowingly used directly by children. We do not knowingly collect account information from children under the age of 13. Information about a child (such as growth measurements or milestones) is provided by the child's parent or guardian, who controls that data through their account.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account and log data for as long as your account is active, so you can continue to track your baby's history over time. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, wherever our service providers operate infrastructure. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
