These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Lovey mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who Can Use Lovey

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. The App is intended to be used by parents and caregivers to record information about a child; children should not create their own accounts or use the App unsupervised.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. If you invite another caregiver to a baby's profile, you're responsible for making sure that's someone you trust with your child's information.

3. Not Medical Advice

Lovey is a personal record-keeping tool. Growth percentiles, vaccination schedules, and sleep/feeding insights are provided for general informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your child's pediatrician or a qualified healthcare provider with any questions about your child's health or development, and before making decisions based on information in the App.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App's normal operation;
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos, notes, and other content you add to the App. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it back to you and the caregivers you've shared a baby's profile with, solely to provide the App's functionality.

6. Availability

We aim to keep Lovey available and reliable, including support for offline use, but we don't guarantee the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lovey and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time by contacting us (see below). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
