BitePeak combines 7 weighted factors into a single score using the same solunar theory that professional anglers rely on.

Add your fishing spot

Name and pin any location — a lake, river, pier, or ocean spot. BitePeak uses the exact coordinates to compute local solunar timings and fetch accurate weather data.

BitePeak calculates 7 factors

Solunar periods (30%), moon phase (20%), wind speed (15%), temperature (12%), pressure trend (10%), cloud cover (8%), and solar windows (5%) are combined into one bite score.

See your bite windows

The solunar clock shows major and minor feeding periods for today. A 7-day calendar lets you plan ahead and pick the best days for the week.

Common questions

Is BitePeak free?

Yes. All core features — today's forecast, solunar clock, 7-day calendar, and multiple spots — are completely free with no subscription required.

Why is my forecast not loading?

Make sure you have an active internet connection and a fishing spot selected. Pull down to refresh on any screen. The app shows the last loaded forecast when offline.

How accurate are the bite times?

Solunar calculations are accurate to within 15–20 minutes for your local time zone. Weather data comes from Open-Meteo and updates daily.

Does the app need my location?

Only if you want to use your current location automatically. You can also add spots manually without granting location permission. Your location is never stored on our servers.

What iOS version is required?

BitePeak requires iOS 17 or later.
